As Outlined by the Constitution of the Student
Government (2006), the Senator is responsible for
1. Acting as liaison officers between faculty and SG
2.
Bringing all matters considered by SG to
the attention of students of the faculty
3. Gathering, organizing and
addressing students’
ideas, issues and concerns to the SG
4. Ensuring that any major notices
(changes in policy or other matters affecting
students) and faculty events
(symposiums, opportunities, club activities)
are communicated to students.
The Ask- UB SenFST Online Student Forum serves as an ideal means of
1. Easily communicating concerns
to the senator
(able to organize categories of
topics, post issues or suggestions,
discuss with senator etc),
2. Accessing a calendar
with events of
interest to FST students, as well as
3. Allowing FST students
to stay informed of all
related activities, clubs, and
developments related to FST
(informational sections/pages
properly enlightening students).
